Zeonprime's Season Opener at Flag Raiders was a wet one, but a good one. With over 115 players showing out of a registered 144, we had a terrific day. BB Bastard was there to support the event with a BB supply and participating in the raffle with AllBlackGuns for a $600 Classic Army UMP,and the Bastard topped it off with some .28g Styrenes. We raised close to $500 for Cancer Research in honor of a member of the community's wife who passed away last year due to breast cancer. Zeonprime will be making the donation in her name.

Given it was March, the day held between 4 and 10 degrees and was wet from the rain the days before, but except for a few minutes here and there, the rain stayed away. Players enjoyed the cooler air, and participated in a number of skirmish style team-on-team events created by Zeon. The highlight of the day was the vets versus the new guys, with the new guys holding a 2 to 1 player ratio advantage. The vets held their own in the elimination game up until the last few engagements, where they finally lost by 5 players. Well done new guys!
Thanks to the local Bastard Renegade for the kitchen tent and Team Snowdragon's crack Cooking Squad headed by Wildcard and Renegade. I don't think I've ever eaten BBQ surf-n-turf at an airsoft game before! I'd like to thank Renegade for his hard work over the past year Bastardizing at Flag Raiders and other events. His hard work has ensured that local players in that region have a steady and convenient supply of BB Bastards. Renegade will be at Flag Raiders again this year so you have access to a steady and local field supply.
